Mark Herrington, NP, is a nurse practitioner who has spent over 20 years working in post-acute care, navigating the complexities of nursing home medicine, fragmented communication, and high-stakes clinical decision-making.
His experience at the bedside revealed a consistent gap: escalation systems built for a different era, struggling to keep pace in a complicated medical world. Rather than adding more alerts or layers, we focused on a different question—how to structure communication reflecting the needs of facilities, nursing and providers to the betterment of all.
That question became the foundation for LOGIK, a clinical governance platform designed to reduce noise, protect provider cognition, and bring clarity to care delivery in skilled nursing settings.
